Our meetings will be held throughout the year, every other Tuesday night at 7:30 PM. Plan to arrive between 7:00 and 7:15 if you'd like to have time to meet people and chat.

Manhasset  Meeting Dates

New Manhasset  Meeting Location:

Manhasset-Lakeville Fire Department Company No. 5 is being renovated until June '04. We will be meeting in the auditorium of The Community Reformed Church of Manhasset at 90 Plandome Road. The church is located less than four miles from Lakeville Firehouse # 5 and is at the northeast corner of Northern Blvd and Plandome Road, less than a mile east of Community Drive. The auditorium is in the building to the rear of the church. Go past the church and make a right turn on George Street to enter the church parking lot. The auditorium will now be on your right. The entrance we will use is the office entrance that is nearer to Plandome Road.

THE FOLLOWING FIRE HOUSE DIRECTIONS ARE LISTED FOR FUTURE REFERENCE:

As of July 2004, meetings will be held on 78th Avenue between Lakeville Road and 271 Street in New Hyde Park. The meeting room is on the 2nd floor of the firehouse.

Northern State Parkway:

Traveling East (from NYC, Queens), get off at Exit 25S which is Lakeville Road . You will be facing Marcus Avenue at end of the exit ramp. Turn right onto Marcus and proceed to intersection of Lakeville Road. Turn left (South) onto Lakeville Road, and proceed approximately 1/4 mile pass two traffic lights at entrances to medical centers ( last one at Long Island Jewish Medical Center ) and then pass another traffic light at the large intersection of Lakeville Road and Union Turnpike. After the intersection, continue 1 block to 78 Avenue ( marked by a flashing yellow traffic light ). Turn right ( West ) onto 78 Avenue. The fire house is on the left in the middle of the block between Lakeville Road and 271st street. Stewart Avenue, heading South, is opposite the firehouse.

Traveling West (from Nassau): Take bus number N25 to Lakeville Road. Walk South one block to 78 Avenue ( marked by a flashing yellow traffic light ). Turn right ( West ) onto 78 Avenue. The fire house is on the left in the middle of the block between Lakeville Road and 271st street.

Lakeville Road Route, North or South: Take bus number N25 to Union Turnpike. Walk on Lakeville Road South one block to 78 Avenue ( marked by a flashing yellow traffic light ). Turn right ( West ) onto 78 Avenue. The fire house is on the left in the middle of the block between Lakeville Road and 271st street.

LIRR Port Washington Branch: Get off at the Great Neck Station . Take bus number N25 South to Union Turnpike. Walk on Lakeville Road South one block to 78 Avenue ( marked by a flashing yellow traffic light ). Turn right ( West ) onto 78 Avenue. The fire house is on the left in the middle of the block between Lakeville Road and 271st street.
